Privacy Policy — Reflex Shoot : Ranked PVP

Last updated: 30 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Reflex Shoot ("ReflexShoot") (the "Game", "App") handles your information. The Game is developed and published by Faruk Berkay Keran, an individual developer publishing under the name Barl Interactive ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the Game you agree to this policy.

1. Summary

2. Information we collect and why

2.1 Data you provide / your game progress (stored on our server)

Our server is reached through the domain game.barlinteractive.com. We store:

2.1a Google account linking (optional)

You may link your Google account (through Google's own sign-in dialog) so your progress can be restored after a reinstall or on a new phone. If you do, we store only the Google account's opaque subject identifier (sub — a random-looking number Google assigns to your account) next to your player profile. We do not receive or store your e-mail address, name, photo, or contacts. The sign-in itself is handled by Google and is governed by Google's privacy policy. Linking is entirely optional; the Game is fully playable without it.

2.2 Device identifier

To restore your progress automatically after you delete and reinstall the Game on the same device (without asking you to type a recovery code), the App reads the Android device identifier (Settings.Secure.ANDROID_ID) and sends it to our server as an account key. This value is a per-device identifier; it is not your name and is reset by a factory reset.

2.3 Approximate region and connection quality

To match you with a suitable opponent, we use your approximate connection latency and your region/continent, which is derived from your IP address (via Cloudflare's country signal) and your device time zone. Your IP address is also used transiently to protect the service (rate-limiting/anti-abuse). We do not store your IP address as part of your saved profile.

2.4 Online multiplayer (peer-to-peer)

Online matches use a direct device-to-device (WebRTC / PeerJS) connection between the two players. By the nature of peer-to-peer connections, your device's IP address is shared with the other player's device in order to establish the match. Game inputs are normally exchanged directly between the two devices. If a direct connection cannot be established (e.g. restrictive networks), the encrypted match traffic is relayed through our own relay (TURN) server solely to make the connection work; relayed traffic is forwarded in real time and is not stored.

2.5 Advertising

The Game displays ads through Google AdMob: a banner on the menu screens, an occasional full-screen ad between matches, and optional "watch to earn extra coins" reward ads that only ever run when you choose to start one. Ads are never shown during a match. If you buy the in-app Remove Ads pack, banner and full-screen ads stop permanently (the optional reward ads remain available if you want them).

To serve ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process: the Android Advertising ID (AAID), your IP address, coarse location inferred from IP, device information, and ad-interaction data. Depending on your region and your choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's own privacy policy. See: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses data / AdMob.

2.6 Diagnostics and error logs

To find and fix problems (crashes, connection drops) and to answer support requests, the App sends brief technical reports to our server when an error occurs. A report may contain: the error message, your player ID and nickname, app version, device model / system version (user-agent) and your IP address at that moment. These logs are kept in a fixed-size rolling store (older entries are automatically deleted as new ones arrive, and the total is capped at a few gigabytes at most), are used only for debugging and support, and are never used for advertising or profiling.

2.7 In-app purchases

The Game sells an ad-removal pack and coin packs through Google Play Billing. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play: we never receive or store your card, bank or billing details. To confirm a purchase and credit it to your profile, our server checks the purchase token with Google's Play Developer API and stores the purchase token, the product bought, the amount credited and the time, linked to your player ID. We keep this record so a purchase can be restored and so the same purchase cannot be credited twice. Refunds and payment questions are handled by Google Play under its own terms.

Open-source libraries (e.g. Matter.js) run locally on your device; see the in-app license list.

4. How we use the information

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your game-progress data for advertising; ad data is handled by Google AdMob as described above.

5. Advertising ID and your choices

6. Children

The Game features stylized, cartoon-style weapons and is not directed to children under 13 (and is not a "family"/"Designed for Families" title). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Data sharing

We share data only as needed to run the Game: with Google (AdMob) for advertising, and with Cloudflare for network delivery. We do not sell personal data and do not share your saved profile data with advertisers.

8. Data retention and deletion

Your nickname and progress are stored until you delete your account. You can permanently delete your server record (nickname, progress, coins, skins, device key, Google link) yourself at any time via Settings → "Delete my account" inside the Game. Alternatively, contact us at the address below (optionally include your nickname or recovery code so we can find your record) and we will delete it for you. Ad-related data held by Google is subject to Google's own retention and deletion controls.

9. Security

Data in transit is protected by HTTPS/TLS. Progress and economy data are authoritative on the server to prevent tampering. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

10. International users

Our server infrastructure may be located in different regions. By using the Game you understand your data may be processed in the country where our servers or service providers operate.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and significant changes may be announced in the Game or store listing.
